The mission of the Senior Application Designer- C#, ASP.NET, SQL is to partner with the basys Software Developers in the delivery of exceptional products that:

The chosen candidate will assume a leadership role in the re-engineering of our product suite onto the Microsoft technology stack including the .NET framework and SQL Server 2005.  As a Senior Application Designer, you will be responsible for developing and writing .NET front end and back end systems and middleware interfaces in C#/.NET for several web-based business critical applications. Additionally, the Senior Application Designer provides leadership and work direction to a team of programmers, developers and quality control specialists.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Minimum 7 years of active Architect/design experience in Microsoft Technologies, with 1-2 years of experience in a Architect/Designer role.
• Experience in Analysis/Design and Developing applications and frameworks using Microsoft Technologies
• Hands-on experience is a MUST
• Proficient with C#, ASP.NET
• Strong on Object Oriented Programming Concepts
• Strong knowledge of complete SDLC, methodologies, and development process
• .NET 3.0/2.0, SQL Server 2005, AJAX, Crystal Reports, ADO.NET
• Experience in Visual modeling tools like Vision, Rational Rose, Erwin
• Experience with database design and development
• Familiarity with Design Patterns
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills & awareness of latest technologies is a must

Preferred Skills

• Conceptual knowledge of performance optimization / memory management of web based applications and database systems is a definite plus
• Certifications from Microsoft
• Experience in working with product development companies is a plus
• Microsoft Share Point 2007 knowledge is a plus
