We currently have an opportunity at our corporate office in Linthicum, Maryland for a Shared Services Manager to join our leadership team. As a technology company, we strive to make our internal operations a model for our customers by using automation to the maximum extent appropriate. The Shared Services Manager will play a key role in deploying and managing the business and technical processes needed to support our internal infrastructure. This individual will be accountable for developing and maintaining a high performing team to ensure results and department goals are achieved. In addition, the ideal candidate will seek opportunities for process/productivity improvements and implement best practices within shared services and across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of internal IT infrastructure including deployment and support of systems and applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Exchange, SharePoint and videoconferencing
- Oversight for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of the corporate servers and applications as well as planning, developing, and supporting hardware, software, and operational needs for internal IT systems
- Assess and optimize the work flow between functional areas within shared services to maximize efficiency and minimize errors
- Provide leadership for daily office operations to include reception and front office administration, mail and production services
- Oversee all bookkeeping functions and internal information management
- Collaborate with external property management in relation to office comfort, expansion, space improvements and design, and safety and security
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business, IT or a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Supervisory role. Proven ability to motivate, promote open communication, and provide mentoring for direct reports
- 5-7 years Information Technology and/or Office Management experience. Knowledge of general accounting principles is preferred
- Proficiency with software solutions for office productivity (Microsoft Office Suite), communications, and electronic content management
- Self-starter, independent thinker who can manage multiple, often competing priorities effectively. Excellent time management and prioritization skills are critical
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
